Drain Removal
Generally, after a tummy tuck with liposuction, drains are placed to remove excess fluid and prevent swelling under the skin. Drains stay in place for six to seven days or per your surgeon's discharge instructions. After you are cleared for drain removal by your surgeon, you are welcome to come to SUA for safe removal. A manual lymphatic drainage massage is included to promote faster healing in your recovery journey.
